once a F/Ied VQ engine's life is over what are the options can it be rebuilt all over again or is it more cost effective to just swap it?
Basically I just wanna know what can be done to an engine after it dies.

Well, how exactly do you mean its over? Its one thing to blow a hole in the block and another to blow a head gasket...it just depends what the problem is how much it costs to fix it vs how much it costs to swap it.
