Default Turbonetics single turbo and piggyback

Would it be possible to use some sort of piggyback engine management with the Turbonetics kit even though it has the re-flashed ECU? Could it be used to fine tune the engine calibration if the re-flash is too rich or lean or if it detonates. Would it also be possible to use an electronic boost controller to scale back the boost for day to day driving without causing a calibration problem?

You could absolutely use something like an EManage or AFC2 to do some fine tuning to the maps. You could also use an external boost controller to vary the boost for your own tastest, you would just need to mak sure you are starting off with the right spring in the wastegate
