what egt temp in ferenheit is consider dangerous or not normal under boost? thanks

what egt temp in ferenheit is consider dangerous or not normal under boost?

My Sensor Mount at #1 cylinder Ex. maniford
about 3.5" away from the cylinder Head.......

Mine is mounted where the pipes meet up to save labor charges. Now under WOT, I get 8-10 on my EGT. Is that normal?

1600 degrees is the beginning of the danger zone from my understanding... i'll grab a chemistry book later and give you the conversion ratio--i forget off hand
