New possible F/I product

Their existing R&D done on LS1 requires no intercooler since the piping back to engine intake is cooled down for being exposed. Testing shown 50% intercooler effiency was achieved by this design already.
Also, since no intercooler is required, the actual piping from the turbo to the engine is in fact the same if not less than car with front mount intercooler, hence greatly reducing the time needed to fill the piping..
V6P is also now working with another company out of NJ to R&D a small intercooler for either front or under car mounting. This small intercooler would compliment STS system very well, by further achieving 100% intercooler effiency while keeping the entire tubing short to reduce turbo lag.
Of course, all these talk are mainly based on their existing work done on domestics; how will imports work? No one knows until R&D is done. Which is why V6P and STS need your vote and showing interests so we may go forward with the R&D, and picking the car group that had shown most interests to go forward with first.
Thanks for your time.

By keeping boost restricted to 5psi (no, I don't consider methanol a viable solution to increasing boost), this kit should be on par with most of the SCs out there -- it will generate about same hp or less, but keep torque over a larger rpm range. Keep in mind, you'll be restricted in boost without an intercooler. Especially in hot climates.
Now, as far as cooling is concerned, why not go with water-to-air intercooler. With that much intake pipe, it should be very easy to add 2 heat exchangers -- one in front, one over the intake piping -- and run an electric pump to pump water across. As an optional, you could add built-in water spray cooler up front, to further provide temp reduction during power runs in hot weather. And, your overall intake piping would remain same length.

For anyone who thinks you can install a turbocharger on the end of an exhaust system and have anything near comparable response/power to a system with the turbocharger mounted on the exhaust manifold I have a special offer for you.
Prime Oceanside property is available right her in Phoenix for a special low introductory price. More details will be made available as soon as you submit payment in full.

I'm just wondering if the flow rate is different towards the end of the exhaust compared to what the flow rate is right after the exhaust manifold. I would think this turbo system would lag more. It's good to see more options for the 350Z though.
Hi guys,
Thanks for all the input, especially S12 driver and bascelik. I will take your questions and suggestions to STS and I am sure they can answer them better than I am.
All in all, please remember this is a thread gauging interests. We're not asking you to put money down, nor is showing interest equal any form of commitment. Frankly, no one can gaurantee it will work perfectly right now - which is why a very intensive Research and Development is required on 350Z and G35.
However, business is a number game. Without knowing there is profit to be make, who wants to spend the precious money and r&d time? I am sure all of you want quality yet affordable products. This is your chance to push product toward that goal!! Please voice out if you're interested.
For few that is simply replying sarcastic comments, please leave and don't bother posting here. Either you have concerns, step up and address them so we all work toward a greater common goal; or don't bother us at all.

350Z and G35 owners are very fortunate that many FI options is already available. But there is nothing wrong to present more options, especially if we can achieve good performance result and good price.
