I am sure there was a reason for this, but why didnt you mount it on the pod closest to the driver?

Also, can you fit it better so that that unsightly gap is not visible?

Trying not to sounds like an ****.

So it is possible to keep the first two stock gauges operational?

hey everyone, just got it in the car, about to take some pics, the reason it is to the far right, is because i wanted to keep the oil and computer display, and yes, the others are fully operational. the gap is not able to be fixed by a simple install, on the other hand it is not visible from inside the seats in the car. anyway, glad there are some who like what i've done, the a/f ration gauge will be installed in the next couple days, it's hooked up already and running just looks like sheeet.... (for now), i'll get those pics up in a couple minutes.

I have a question....I don't have F/I yet, but am trying to learn as much as possible. Looking at this guage, it looks as if each tick mark is 1.25 lbs of boost. Is this Granular enough to be of any real use in determining actual boost, or is this kind of a "show guage". Are there other boost indicators in the car, or is this the only display?

Thanks.

Good Eye kcobean,

I noticed that too since I have the same gauge. To this day, I have no idea why they did that. But to answer the question, its still a decent guage to look at while driving. In realitiy, for tuning, you shouldnt be relying on a guage, but rather data logging it to something. I have another guage on my profec e-01 that I can refered for datalogging and tuning. But you get used to looking at the Defi...

Is there anyway to move the stock gauge to different places? Like if you want the boostgauge in the first slot, computer in the second, and oil in the 3rd. I just want to keep that stock computer gauge.

the way that the computer is designed with the oil meter, there would not be a way to do it without using a different circuit board, those 2 are connected using the same board, and the screw holes are designed to hold it in place, thats why i went ahead and kept the computer and oil where they are, and put the boost in the spot by itself to the far right, i agree that it would look great to the far left, butin this case, it wasn't possible to do that without heavy modification.
