As the subject states! How many miles do you have on your boosted motor? Also how many pounds of boost are you running? I ask this because there are so many horror stories of blown motors from running low boost in both G35 and 350Z. I currently have a n/a G35, but I also own a 91 Mustang that has had a turbo on it for 5 years now that runs about 15 psi of boost max at 6200 RPM. I have 35000 boosted miles on it since the turbo kit install and a total of 60000 total miles on the motor.....

 

13000 miles roughly. 15000 total miles on the engine.


From everything I have read about Mustangs, and I have a shop friend here in town that mods them quite frequently, the stock internals can take much more on a mustang. The mustang community also has a wealth of different tuning options to work with. All of which can result in more and safer boosted WHP.
