Default Single Turbos and Engine Stress and Damage

As far as SC and TT goes ... It seems as if SC puts a lot less stress on the lower end than TT does (as it seems many GReddy'ers have been blowing their motors). What about a single turbo though, such as the Turbonetics? what kind of damage would do (or lack of damage) to the stock internals? if you were to run a single turbo from 6-9 psi, what kind of response would you get from the internals due to the added combustion happening in the engine?

This brings up the same reason someone posted on another thread. Simply put, the reason there are more blown Greddy engines is from MORE Greddy owners than any other kit.

Now as far as stress, I don't know if there would be more stress, it seems to me if you are running the same psi on either a single or twin it wouldn't make a difference, but i'm not sure on that.
