Well both are good for any stroke kit and forged internasl also I believe that both are good for 20+ psi... so in my opinion is a matter of how much money you want to spend and who do you trust more... I trust Greddy

omarv6:
Give Tuan at GRD (Genesis Racing Development) a call. They are going through a engine build with, I believe a stroker kit. They should be getting 600+ hp eventually.

Light Speed Performance is also building a car with a stroker kit. Looking at getting 800whp on pump gas.

Ya that was during xmas season. But their price is 5600 now.. so $200 more, and still cheaper then basically anywhere.

$200 savings is $200 that you can buy some other stuff. Good luck.

But I still like looking at these boards just because I like cars in general. I recently got my Greddy turbo kit for my car at www.city-speed.com for $2900. I was kind've leery at first because they sell on ebay (but I called/bought from their website directly), and the prices were about $300 lower than everywhere else but I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did I ordered my turbo kit on a Friday, and I got it on Tuesday of the next week. Later I got a Greddy blow off valve from them, and it arived within 3 days. I live in LA. Just thought I would let you guys know they have the 350Z Greddy Turbo kit w/FMIC for $5400. You can find it at :

I had to purchase the parts from other vendors. So you can buy from them but they had no follow up service at all. I'm hoping you had a better experience.
They love you right up to the point you give them the cash, after that they don't want to know you.

FYI: The board vendors can easily match that price of $5400...at least they could a couple months ago.
Given gary's experience with them..>I'd stick to a board sponsor.
FYI: Its not uncommon for the Greddy kit to be "missing" things. Mine came with two driver side downpipes. Another buddy of mine was missing one of the turbo outlet elbows.
When crap like that happens, you really need an authorized dealer to get involved to get the parts from Greddy. Otherwise, you are SOL.

Yeah, I was missing one of the pieces of the piping, but luckily my mechanic just fabbed up a piece of piping. All these units are pretty much drop shipped/sealed from Greddy. It sucks that their QC is so poor when it comes to making sure the kit is complete. The quality of the parts is otherwise top notch.
Good luck, hopefully you have vendors that can match pricing. It sucks when you buy a kit somewhere only to find it somewhere else for a bit less. I hate that feeling.

Well the 18G's are bigger than the APS Garrets but I believe is not a big difference when you go to the limit of both Kits, so is more or less the same.

not sure what the garrets can produce per turbo, but the 18g's can give up to 450rwhp of psi per turbo.

I think as time progresses, we are you going to find that the Greddy turbos can put out more airflow for power than the APS's. The PE turbos maxed out near 600whp with Performance Nissan's street/drag car. The APS turbos are roughly the same size. I know there are many other factors other than physical size of the compressor and exhuast housing...but directionally, its safe to say the larger 18G's should flow more air. I while again, squill posted some compressor maps, and translated their meanings to show that the Greddy turbos can flow more air within the RPM band that the VQ operates in.
