Default 350 Twin Turbo kit interest

I know that there are several twin turbo kit's out there, but I know of a shop that made a TT kit for the Z. It is a complete kit down to the MoTec pretuned ECU, M800. It also comes with everything needed including rods and lower CR pistons, twin ball bearing turbo's, stainless steel manifolds, etc.

Stat's
Garrett GTR turbo's (don't know the exact model, modified by the company)
920RPM made 1psi.
2000rpm made 380wtq
WHP=over 520@5400rpm
WTQ-over 530
1/4mi=10.77@126mph
No more than 1 bar of boost
Slightly better power to weight ratio than the Murcielago and faster than the F360 Modena, F550, and most other cars, honestly.

They have asked me not to mention their company name, but they do have a long history of building Nissan engines.

The asking price on this kit is about $15K. The ECU alone retails for $7K untuned. I know this is alot, but for now, they are just building to order as people come in and have no plans for production. With the ECU and tuning out, this really is a bargain for the power.

I will see if I can get some pictures.

My question to you is, if the company made the kit, would you be interested in it.

Actually, the shop is not in MD. Currently, they really don't want their name out or location, but I will say that it is not in the US.

On the gauges, good question, don't know. Will try and find out.

But if it were to be imported, it would be imported to MD.

If I told you the continent, you would know who it is. They have been making 900+whp RB26's, RB30's, etc for quite a while now.

I will talk with them tonight and see what they tell me.

The kit is 15k US dollars? This is only for parts, no labor on building the motor right?

Yes, parts only. But that would be
Forged H-Beam rods
Forged/Dished/Machined Pistons
Powdercoated stainless steel everything (manifolds, charge piping, etc)
100mm intake piping
Pretuned MoTec M800 and loom
High-Flow cats
all install hardware
Twin Garrett GTR ball bearing turbo's

Who in their right mind would spent time and money into R&D to make a quality custom TT kit and only sell it to a select few?

Something does not add up.

lol. No, not made by Top Secret. They already make a single turbo kit for the Z.

Honestly, I would tell you, but they have specifically asked me not to. I will tell you as soon as they let me know that they are willing to release it within the US.

But I will say that they made a Ferrari Twin Turbo kit.

Top Secret turbo kits are JDM 350Z only right now. BTW, could the company that is making this kit be this place? http://www.fiautosports.com/index.html (shouldn't have put a link in your signature). The price seems a little high also, pistons are ~1200 and rods are ~1200, APS TT kit is 7500 and is already tuned, so that is 9,900 before installation, no where near 15k. I understand the MoTec ECU module will take VDC away but TCS can be tuned to the owner's wants, correct? I'm glad to see more options for the 350Z, just wish the price was closer to 12k. Also, will pistons and rods be optional? or is there a chance we can select the brands?

EDIT: sorry about the wrong Top Secret comment, I looked it up before I read your post and right after I made mine just to check myself, my mistake.

Well, I don't make the kit, but I sell the Ferrari kit in the US and Europe.

Top Secret's website has the Single turbo kit on it. Copy and paste below. Unless their website is out of date.

Z33 Single Bolt on turbo kit. Comes with GT30 PRO JDM HKS Turbo and Top Secret Steel Exhaust manifold. Intake/Intercooler piping is not included.

Front Mount Intercooler and professional tuning is reccomended. The intake manifold is a custom one-off piece for race use only.

Depending on the turbos, piping, FMIC, and a few other things, this could be a fairly nice kit at a nice price.

I wish i could afford an M800. Hell, Id make the wiring harnesses if I had to.
