Default Stillen 8psi Upgrade Dyno #'s

I just thougth I would share with you the potential of the Stillen supercharging system at it's maximum reliable boost pressures.

The 397RWHP is achieved through the addition of a 35 shot nitrous system.

The 360RWHP is 8psi boost only. The 335 was at 7psi

All three dyno runs had excellent AFR's in the mid 12's post cat.

This set up is not entirely stock, there are other aftermarket bolt on's and a Wed car on good gasoline helps.

I am including the Torque sheet in the next thread.

A FULL motor rebuild is in the works with all new forged internals, cams, port work,ETC. This should be completed by the end of Jan.

I will keep you posted!

Gene,

That was a Feeler I put out there 2-3 months ago,

Since then I have done alot of thinking and comparing of different FI systems and the best one for me is the Stillen.

And yes,it will sit on top of my new motor!

Smile Keep me Updated!

Darren - Cool! Keep me updated on exactly how far U manage to push the built motor since most of the folks keep saying that the current Stillen blower can't do more than 10# of boost. I'll probably be contacting Stillen early in January for my own system ( albeit on the stock internals ).

I wish more people would give this roots blower a chance.....I love them although I don't have any boost running on my G...I have had one on a mustang that I own and had great results was thinking about the stillen for my G as there seems to be less problems with it...

What other mods have you done to your car? If you don't mind, would you list them?

since you dyno'd at stillen, I'm assuming you got the pulley from them? any idea when they are releasing it?

Post cat.... Please read my post

That means you add .5-.8 to the reading which = 11.8-11.5

You should check with your salesman @ Stillen for the availability.

It is more than just a pulley change out. I will let someone from Stillen answer your question about releasing an addition to their SC kit

Remember, the more we support a product the more goodies we will have to play with.

So, making about 300whp at 6.3psi, I can expect about 320-325 at 7psi, and about 340-345 at 8psi, I guess. I wonder what/when will this be released. I was gonna bug the service at Stillen to sell me the race pulley only... I sincerely think no changes are needed in fuel delivery. However, belts and heak soak... ahh... I'd like to see you combat 100F heat here in Houston . Read: need bigger intercooler and water spray chiller. Sell me that as Stage IV upgrade and I'll bite.

Good numbers, Znitro! Definitely should be fun to drive, but I wouldn't want to deal with that power spike (from the N2O) on a track run.

I was actually thinking about drifting through a corner getting on the gas and suddenly having a jump of 50hp from what I was feeling only a fraction of second before!

Seems like a good way to wind up with your car pointing the wrong way. Wonder if the N2O could be bled in slower so the jump is as on/off in nature...

I read your post very carefully. I have never seen that much variance going with a tailpipe sniffer.
