that is how cold/warm it is now. so the temp shouldn't have anything to do with it, here is an idea, while fixing my heater, i released pressure on a line in the engine bay, green cap that said EVAP on it, is it possible that i messed something up, maybe kinked a hose hooked up to this line by releasing all pressure ? it says max 1 psi on the cap. should i tap some air into this line and see what happens ? or is that a big no no. ? thanks

Not only is temp a factor but humidity. It's much less humid around my area lately. Less water in the air, the easier it is to compress.

That should just be for your emmissions system. I really think your boost issue is the belt slipping. We had this same problem and many others have reported it also.

If it were me I would take it back to the whom-ever you had install it... Maybe they did a rush job on the install and missed something...

Agreed, there definately looks to be a connection relative to the upper RPM's which is where the problem seems to be.

Personally I would first check with a "qualified mechanic" before trying anything. The question for the mechanic is whether a release of EVAP pressure could result in the the cars performance..You dont want to introduce another potential problem trying to solve this one..

still not fixed, been trying to get in touch with z1motorsports, im trying to setup a date so they can take a look at it, no luck yet, im trying to go on jan 7th, so i can be there for their dyno day, but im kind of afraid to take a long trip with it acting like this, now the wideband a/f gauge is going up to 17.x sometimes reading out all the way lean, when i get up to about 4k rpm and above, it doesn't go below 14.5 or so, something is def wrong here.

With those A/F #'s I would be very hesitant driving the car.

Have you gotten the car in the air yet to check the aux fuel pump and FMU? I'm telling you call me this weekend or come over so we can get the car in the air and check some voltages and vaccum lines.

So whats the word on your Vortech SC? You should have stayed there while they did the install so you know they didn't just slap in together...

whats up guyz, well, i think i may have just fixed my car , not too sure yet, just went for one drive and it didn't do the bogging down, am a proud new owner of a jack and jack stands from sears today that helped me get under my car and examine it for the first time, everything looked ok. i was told that i could adjust the bov by someone to make it a bit louder. so i unscrewed the bolt and used an alen wrench to unscrew the bolt a little. tightend back down the bolt and took it for a drive to listen how loud it was now. and i'll be damed if it didn't bog down. will give further updates when i get back from another drive.
