Default Help with turbo timer install

Does anyone have any pics or good explanation of the Greddy turbo timer install? Did anyone have any problems with the install? I would like to do it myself if it is not to difficult. Any help would be appreciated. Rich

To install it you have to hard wire it in to the stock ing. harness. Do to the z not coming stock turbo, from what i know there is no harness adaptor for it.

Thanks, Zdrifting I understand that part. I was hoping someone might know what wires to splice into.

Call Larry at 407-699-5550. His shop is Innovations Perfomance. He did the install on a friend's greddy tt kit and also did the turbo timer on it. Thats if he remembers what wires they were. But you can always try right. Hope that helps.

The wires that you need to tap into should be behind the steering column covers or lower dash cover. Just pull it off and follow the wire harness coming off of the ignition switch where you put the key in. I can't remember how many wires it is, but they are pretty fat wires usually. Trace them back, to where they plug into the main harness, and tap into them around there. I know you're looking for which wires to tap into, and I don't know exactly which color is for which Timer wire. But you can look at the instructions that came with the greddy TT, and you should be able to match it from there, at least hopefully. You'll need to strip back the wire covers, and you should solder the TT wires to them, and then use either shrink wrap or good electrical tape to cover the exposed wires. That's the best way, do not use T taps, the stock wires in the harness coming off of the ignition switch are usually too big, and won't get a solid connection.
