On similar note - has anyone ever heard of Shakti stones? I know I know it sounds like real voodoo magic snake-oil stuff, but some swear by this product. The producted started as an audiophyle tweak and got used for EMI reduction......

Charles, I am in, and would want to buy both wires if available. After the testing you or GQ should start a separate thread as I am sure some of the 40 interested are not checking the thread regularly. Ok guys this is looking good.

I have been running a dyno day all day today... 14 cars in the middle of winter... parking lot was all ice almost, 2 cars slide off the parking lot and had to be pulled out!

I got a mess to clean up.

Tommarow night or Monday I will post an update. Im gonna try to get ahold of Shariff to see how we start taking in the desposit and stuff... I would be ok with people just sending it to me with paypal or something but since he started the group buy, maybe all the cash gets sent to him for now?

I am ok either either situation... just wanted a little commitment before I order thousands of dollars in parts I would never use without you guys wanting them.

I'm hoping you might have cost worked out for getting both wires - crank & cam.

My 2 cents....you get us to give you all the money in advance and wait for a minimum of 20-30 payments before you order.

I figure this is a great chance for me because it allows me to get you guys an inexpensive product that not only gives you the chance to see how I do business and grow to trust me, but allows me to get you something that is potentially very important for your car and is related to an attention to detail that is very my style.

HI everyone, I am on vacation in Cancun until thurs, but I just couldnt keep away from the internet cafe.

The easiest thing for Charles and me, is to have everyone to Paypal their payment to my account. I will track and coordinate all the payments and buyers address, just like Ive done with my other group buys. I will then send one cashiers check to Charles. Charles, keep in mind that paypal charges 2.9% plus .29 per transaction. So factor that into the price, since I will send you the net payment.

Update!

We are getting a twin turbo Z on the scope this week! As soon as there is a day that weather permits driving the car.

Also you guys should know that there are 2 cam triggers... so its actually a total of 3 cables you will be going for if you want cam/crank coverage.

The cables are exactly the same its just the cam ones will be a little shorter. I can take off $25 if you want to get 3 cables but honestly guys I do want to make sure you understand that the cam trigger cables are not nearly as significant of importance... your car could run without the cam triggers completely it would just have batch injection rather then sequential. The pefection of timing of the fuel injectors and cam timing are not as critical as the crank reference.

Just as a side note.. the IVT (intake valve timing) control works via cam phasing feedback, which is read from the cam sensor. You're right that the stock ECU would just default to batch injection in the case of a lost cam trigger, but you would also lose variable intake cam phasing.

yes you are correct... but it is to my belief that this is not such a critical thing, as in I do not suspect it to potentially cause any engine damage.
