Damn, that's even better than i had hoped... call me crazy, but it sure looks like you could just reuse those to build a custom turbo setup... you could make a short adapter pipe to connect between the two flange styles and also to adjust the angle/position of the turbo, but unless that thing is total crap on the inside it sure looks like it wouldn't hold you back from 700hp or so...

thanks for posting those!! do you happen to have any internal pics of the stock passages?

thanks,
Jeff

You can re-use them for a turbo aka Turbonetic fashion if you mount the snail top side similar to the SC placement However;
trying to shoe horn a snail below the exact OEM manifold would be next to impossible. And definately impossible if one intends to ever meet CARB. It is sooooo tight down there. Hence one other another reason Greddy , APS , PE systems re-do the manis.

i like to eat carbs, not meet them

i'm in nebraska, we don't even have safety inspections here... No cats, no wipers, no headlights -- no problem!! Except for the snow, salt, and horrible roads, it's a car-nut's paradise!!

is the stock manifold cast iron or stainless? looks like it's rusting so that makes me think cast iron... but then i don't know why they wouldn't have made it all once piece with the flange and avoided having to weld anything... plus welded cast iron is crap for long-term reliability, especially at EGT temp levels...
