Default what spark plugs with vortech?

The manual states to use standard plugs, but aren't most people using 1 step colder, or is this just for other FI kits?

Any recommendation between 1 step colder Platinum or Iridium for Vortech and why? Thanks

I have used the NGK iridiums, no problems. Got some denso's coming this time. No reason other than what was in stock.
Definately get 1 step colder though.

these are the ones to use.

you can use standard plugs, but it's much safer to run a colder plug with any fi setup.

1 step colder Iridium plugs.... you spent $thousands on the SC, don't skimp on the plugs.

we are going with the colder, by common conscensus, just wondering why vortech wouldn't specify them.

I have the stock plugs still in there with no problems. I may switch to colder plugs when I redo the fuel system.

I think it is completely safe with the way the kit is tuned out of the box. I don't think they are "needed" which is why Vortech doesn't specify to go with one step colder plugs.
