Talking P000 ecu code?

I'd post this in the "performance" section, but it seems it's largely talk about what exhaust is louder or quieter......but I digress

I've had this code pop up a couple times since it got cold out, and just had a customer swing by that also had the same code. When I clear mine, it goes away for weeks on end (it's been about 4 weeks since I threw it). He came by tonight and I cleared it but it came back within a few minutes

I did a search online, but really did not come up with anything concrete as to what the P000 code is for - I know it's airflow related, but can anyone help shed light?

TIA

Adam

I thought OBDII codes were P followed by four digits. Did you miss one digit, or is it really P000 ?

According to the service manual...I only see DTC codes for the GST or ECM listed with a P followed by four digits......Is it possible the reading could be P0000...?

quite obviously, the part of the ECU that names problems is broken

hence the messed up code!

The manual states the P0000 is emmission related.....Needs reset?....Just trying to be helpful......Not a mechanic.....

I guess it must have been P0000..next time it pops up I'll look again. My research tells me its just a common ecu glitch....basically a code to tell you that no fault codes are present

Did a search and came up with "unable to communicate with ecu". Couldn't get any more info than that.

Oh yeah Adam, I almost forgot, the loudest exhaust is the Top Speed N1!!
