Default PAUTER RODS??? anyone have them and not in the middle of a rebuild?

Does anyone have the Pauter rods who does not need thme in the next 2-3 weeks???
i have them on order, Sharif just verbally assured me they should be done next friday, 1/21/05 and should be shipped the following week...
so, my proposition...if someone can send me their Pauter rods that they have sitting on a shelf (or under your pillow in your bedroom, that's where mine would be)...i will send out a certified check for $100 for the trouble...i figure if someone can help me and ship them OVERNIGHT... i won't be slowed down with my rebuild...the hope is to get them here in albuquerque, NM by monday or tuesday of next week....

my pauter rods will ship out to you immediately when they get here...or, i can talk to sharif and pauter and try to get them shipped directly to you...they will be there 1/28/05 best case scenario, 2/4, worst case scenario (highly unlikely that late!)

anyways, please, if someone can help me out, i'll get the check sent out tomorrow...i know lots of you guys participated in the group buy a while back that prolly haven't done the rebuild yet..

so please, help a fellow engine rebuider who is in the middle of a rebuild, out.

Thank you so much!!!
PS: sharif (gq_626) will vouch for me that i have a set of pauter rods on order that will be sent out on their first shipment (since i ordered so long ago!)

THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!

yup...rods are almost done. The Pauter rods have been in extremely high demand, and nobody has been able to build any inventory on them. Youd think Pauter would start making more for their shelves. I have several sets come in..Tods, and two other customers. I can add more to the order as needed.

Hopefullly someone can help Todd out, and make a hundred dollars in the process. I can have Todds rods shipped directly to the new buyer.

you don't waste any time!
thanks for handling all of this!!!

so, now all my parts will be here...the rods are due to arrive tuesday, the machine shop will order main and rod bearings,
does anyone know the FASTEST route to getting the nissan bearings? i won't know EXACTLY which size rod and main bearings to get until they can measure it out... i will probably have nissan overnight the bearings out here....
then the machine shop will balance the assembly (with my lightened flywheel installed)...then it goes back to my tuner..install arp main and head studs, reassembly the motor, install into my car, start that baby up...then the break in process begins...

Thanks gq...and thank you Zcool

dude, if you don't have the bearings yet you might be in for a big shock. My block has been waiting on a set for over a month now.

what's the hold up?.. who did you order through???
there MUST be a nissan distributor with the bearing in stock..
i am curious about the details of your situation...

This is why it is safer to do internals first . You have had a lot of obstacles to get by before you could even start the re-build. Now it's going to be more time waiting on the installs. I feel for you as i'm sure the rest of us do.
