Default Is there a better EGT gauge?

I was planning on getting a DEFI D gauge EGT to match my others in the A-Pillar. Was planning on installing it in the driver's side vent in the door. Just would like opinions on EGT gauges. Thanks.

What gauges did you order? I don't personally think you need an EGT gauge since you have a wideband.

I like the greddy warning gauges, shows the peak EGT from a previous run or even just daily driving, has a warning light that comes on and warns you if your egt is climbing too high. Also has a memory feature so u record the highest level of temperature, i would go with Defi BF too but, for now i wanna make sure the car is running to peak performance and not going limp on me. The greddy gauges allow me to watch over it and keap memory. Mine usually sticks around 7.5 ish to 8ish when im climbing hills or laying into her.

I currently have AEM W/B, DEFI D Boost, Fuel Pressure gauges. As far as I know, tuning is easier if you have EGT as well as WB. Does anyone know what size gauge would fit in the door?
There was a thread about it a while ago but cannot find it.

EGT is useless for tuning. A wideband alone is all you need for tuning. Exhaust gas temperature does not respond quickly enough to be an effective tuning tool, and should only serve as a last-resort warning against excessive exhaust temps.

I plan on going with Defi BF Amber Boost and Fuel Pressure, and AEM Wideband. As far as the size gauge that fits in the door, I imagine 52mm, but pm Cheston (chebosto), I believe he has his in his vent, i'm pretty sure he does actually.

EGT is most certainly not useless for tuning - it is another reference point that helps you determine a safe level of tune. As a standalone gauge it is difficult to tune solely off of it, though whe coupled to a wideband it will reveal alot of useful info
