How did you route the IC pipe ?

I've got these two young kids working for me and they figured out a way to cut some of the existing pipe that has the bov mounted on it and turned it around so the procharger blows down, makes a smooth wide turn and right up to the throttle body. I was really impressed how these guys riged it so it looks as if procharger made it that way. The only problem we are facing now is that the MAF sensor is so close to the thottle body and I need a place to mount the 1st water/meth injector preferable a little farther away than the throttle body and the bigger 2nd injector near where the NOS port is by the throttle body. I'm tellin ya man the intercooler is very very restrictive with the smaller higher spinning blowers. I think the bigger vortec/ati units don't have any problems blowing through the 2-3 core intercoolers but mine really feels different already and I didn't even take it over 4500rpm. I'm hoping that with water/meth injection, 16-17psi of boost and 1100cfm's of air flow we should be about to "maybe" hit 500rwhp. I don't see why we couldnt.

I'm hell bent on making this work! There are 500+rwhp turbo Z left and right. But I don't know anyone who has pulled this off yet with a supercharger, plus I want something more unique that nobody has. And to my knowlege there is nobody I know of running a vortec/prochers with no intercooler and a 2 stage water/meth system with a UTEC and built motor.

I'll try to get some pics up this week of the pipe re-routing

I can see you easily getting 3 to 4 psi more . Good luck , Im sure it will work . Getting the W&M injection part right maybe the tricky part

I would like to see how you plumbed the pipes . Should start a new thread . we are taking over Dereks ....sorry Derek

Yeah, the Top Secret front bumper is currently at the paint shop and we're waiting on our intercooler so we can send it to Vortech and they can start fabricating the 3in piping. We are waiting for the rear axles from Driveshaft shop, FCon and couple other things. Other than that we have all of our custom fuel system and exhaust components together waiting to be installed.

I know this project is lagging and I apologize to the companies involved for taking so long, it just takes time when you deal directly with manufacturers.

Hey guys....Well this project is definitely taking longer than expected but I got some good news. We received the custom intercooler yesterday and man this thing is nice and big. I spoke with Vortech today and we will be picking the car up next Friday. As soon as I get it in my hands I will take a couple pics(not too many, need to leave some incentive for you guys to buy the magazine).

Finally got the car back from Vortech on Friday! Runs great, looks great and sounds great. I dropped off the car today to get the exhaust done. Should have it back tomorrow so I'll try and get some pictures up this week.

Here's how the setup ended up:
-V-2 T-Trim blower
-Custom cog setup off of the crank pulley(15psi pulley, for now)
-Custom 3" piping
-58mm Race Blowoff Valve(biggest vortech has)
-Massive 31X11.2X4.5 Intercooler
-Stock Bracket(same that comes with the Vortech kit)

We will be picking up the FCON tomorrow and hopefully installing it, the fuel system, Kaaz lsd and axles within the next couple weeks.

I'll keep you guys posted.

-Derek,
DSport
