Thank you, i will probably go ahead and order that. Do you think that is what may cause me to leak gas sometimes , but not always ???

It's hard to say because i am not there looking at your car. I know on my car that was the prob. It's just nice to have all this help with our forum members! I don't think your FMU is bad just the washer inside is sticking. Keep us posted and happy boosting. Don't forget to order 3.12 pulley! And get a new gates belt i think its 93? Booger knows... help me out here

just ordered the 8:1 recalibration kit, told the vortech rep what was happening, he said that no way would my issue be because of the washer, and that i must have the fuel lines hooked up backwards, but i really don't think that his info is true because it would have happened since it was put on the car, it just now started happening, and that he didn't want to say that it was an issue with the FMU being bad because he didn't want to put a bad name on the fmu that comes with it. any ideas ? little more info, when i start the car after sitting, that is when it starts to leak gas, but if i get somewhere after driving for say 10 min or so... stop the car for 5 min, then restart the car, it doesn't leak gas.

Ray, I hate that you are having so many issues since you put the Vortech on. Is this just bad luck or does it have something to do with the install?

When i called Vortech they didn't want to say or admit that the Fmu could be at fault. Open the fmu and check the washer and see if it is corroded. You can put it back together after. It's odd that you are having this problem with your Vortech. Wish you luck.
