just ordered the 8:1 recalibration kit, told the vortech rep what was happening, he said that no way would my issue be because of the washer, and that i must have the fuel lines hooked up backwards, but i really don't think that his info is true because it would have happened since it was put on the car, it just now started happening, and that he didn't want to say that it was an issue with the FMU being bad because he didn't want to put a bad name on the fmu that comes with it. any ideas ? little more info, when i start the car after sitting, that is when it starts to leak gas, but if i get somewhere after driving for say 10 min or so... stop the car for 5 min, then restart the car, it doesn't leak gas.
When i called Vortech they didn't want to say or admit that the Fmu could be at fault. Open the fmu and check the washer and see if it is corroded. You can put it back together after. It's odd that you are having this problem with your Vortech. Wish you luck.
