The shop told me they have over 200 pics of the whole build up and install.

Will post a link to the pics as soon as I get them.

As far as the tranny goes, I will be doing the Stillen valve body upgrade but for the TC upgrade not sure.

Will the tranny be too jerky with a high stall converter ?

I won't be doing any drag, just street.

Hopefully my car will be up and running this week too.

The reason why you dont want to let a brand new motor idle for too long, after it is at operating temp, is because you want to break in the piston rings in a way they will operate for the rest of their life, around 1-4k rpms. That should give them the best fit and compression.

GMADD, I didn't see a turbo timer in your pics of your new TT kit. You should pick one up, this will save you time from having to sit in your car and letting the engine cool down.

Well for an update...

Went to the garage today and the engine's back in.

The manifolds where ceramic coated and polished...WOW !

Sweet ! , the only ting left is the piping and intercooler left for install.

I recomend polishing them after the ceramic coating, it's worth it !

Hard to see but here's the ceramic coated and polished manifold




the install is completed just the wiring is left...

We're going to start it for the first time next monday, is there anything to look out for ?
