Default Votech Intercooler Size and Upgrade?

I got in a little fender bender and put nice hole in my intercooler.

I wondered if anyone knew the size of the Vortech Spearco intercooler?

I was wondering also if it would be beneficial to upgrade the existing intercooler with a bigger one?

If so does anyone know what other intercoolers would work with the Vortech system?

Thanks

Paul

I'm not sure which intercoolers would fit, but remember the larger the intercooler, the bigger the pressure drop is across it. Therefore lower boost,

The one ATI uses looks like it flows better . Looks like the same type as APS uses .

To add to zbicklen's astute observation a larger I/C will provide a lower inlet temp to the engine intake which results in a heavier/denser air but at reduced flow (less boost). The flow rate loss could be compensated with a smaller pulley buying back boost. The tradeoff is whether the lower inlet temp and increased flow rate is at least equivalent to the smaller I/C and stock pulley in terms of boost..Lower inlet temp is always beneficial for the reliability of the engine..Assuming of course that the smaller pulley does not raise the temp to the I/C significantly..
