Let's throw another variable into the equation :

When I went TT (Greddy), I threw misfire codes every now and then. As soon as the temps fell for winter (60 degrees & below), I have yet to throw one . . . and it still has an occasional rough idle (it idles perfect with the AC on--RPMS go up). Logically, could it be the dense cold air mixing well with the rich fuel (more lean than in the summers)?

I have not thrown a single misfire code and we have rarely gone below 60 here this winter. Mine does idle better with the AC on but that was the case before the TT as well.

Hmm do you believe is some other thing maybe the plugs (2 step colder) like GQ said or that we have to wait 4 sec. until start up the car (like fernandito 7 said)... because I believe everybody with Greddy TT in some point throw the misfire code... rigth?

I just want to make sure what is it, is not only the ligth on

Maybe, I installed the two step colder plugs from the beginning and I usually wait a few seconds before starting it.

Yeah I have the two step colder before installing the TT so I don't know about that but I keep trying waitnig the 4 seconds before starting the car, maybe is that simple!

my car isn't FI yet, but I get that same misfire code all the time

I reset the ECU and I swear the car becomes happier - maybe the ECU is retarding timing or doing something to compensate for the misfiring?

Anyway, as of a couple months ago, Brian from technosquare who has a greddy kit also was getting the misfire code. So I'm not sure it's something flashing the ECU can fix because you'd think of all cars, his wouldn't do that if the ECU had anything to do with it.

Does anyone with the APS kit get misfire codes?
