Question APS Twin Turbo on a 5AT

Hello!

I was wondering if somebody on this forum successfully install the APS TT on a 5AT 350z?

THX!

Ya he has one installed. Dont think he has anything done with the tranny. What were you worried about with it? I have a 5AT and i plan to APS TT it as well. I might get a throttle body to help get more power to the wheels and cleaner smoother shifts. But its not a needed upgrade.

Besides, haveing a FI Auto is more rare, can get you more publicity :P

You mean torque converter, not throttle body.

I figured torque converter since that was what I had linked him to through a PM a while back.

ROFL THROTTLE BODY!!!

Anyway the upgraded valvebody is a must plus a transmission cooler. The upgraded valvebody will increase the temperature of the fluid a lot more than stock you an external tranny cooler is a must. A high stall torque converter would be nice too. With that you probably be anywhere from .5 - a second faster than a manual 350z with same mods.

This sounds like a great plan and exactly what I intend to do as well.
