Default LSD with greddy tt???

okay i got the greddy tt with frontmont installed 2wks ago and i also have injen dual cats, untox. pulleys, test pipes, greddy e-01 , and stillen ground wire...well after the greddy install now when i floor it , it slides alittle .like its not grabbing ....i have the base model without the nissan stock LSD ...is this the reason for me getting the slip or is this all in my head...and if i need LSD which is better for racing but good for daily driving ??

What kind of power or numbers are you getting to the wheels? Through experience and my best guess, I'd first say that the slipping feel is your clutch giving way. My 2 cents.

At base boost it is probably the LSD, at higher boosts it would be your tires, I can't get traction in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd when gunning it, not just a small slip but a good tail wag, it is fun though once you learn how to do it under some control.

I have had thre stock clutch for 6 months now and it is still holding, although I think it might go soon.

I have read the the Nismo unit is a very good LSD and is easy to change the lock percentage. It is louder then a stock unit because it is a clutch type and not a viscous type, but it is stronger then the stock one. I have heard about people putting in Redline fluid in it and it seems to make it farely quiet.

For daiily driving, the currently avaiable LSD's are a little extreme. They're all clutch type diffs so they tend to 'clunk' when they engage. I'm waiting for the Quaife limited slip since its constantly in action, is silent, and is gaurenteed forever. That being said, it'll also be almost twice the cost of the Nismo diff and it doubt it'll include the parts you need to add it like the Nismo does (stub axels, etc.)
