Default Alcohol Injection

Has anyone done this with a FI 350Z? Don't see many discussions on it. A 50/50 mix of water/alcohol seems to be a great way to lower temperature and drastically reduce chances of detonation. Seems to me like this might be one option to make the stock engine safer/reliable with lets say a TT kit.

I was talking to one of my buddies who drives a new Vette and he was raving how it's a must and key to make a "bulletproof" turbo setup.

Opinions?

Hmm okay let me rephrase... Can anyone come up with a reason not to do alcohol injection on their setup?

another thing you can do to lower temps is to reroute your windshield wiper washer jets to the front of your intercooler... helps drop charge temps quite a bit, and it's very close to free

I actually looked into doing this, but after researching it (WRX, Audi, etc boards) I found this approach to be considered not effective.

Back on topic, Z1 is installing their Alcohol injection system in my built Z. They have a kit for the 350. System kicks in after X PSI.

So lets say I went with an APS single turbo kit and wanted to do 400 whp on a stock engine. Think the Alcohol injection would help me acheive this at a reater reliability kicking in during the top 50% boost range?
