Default Turbonetics Single Turbo A/F Question

I know Greddy comes with emanage to control A/F but I am curious what Turbonetics or fellow member recomend to keep A/F in check. Any help on this would be great, also how are people instaling knock lights, does the box need to be ran to knock sensor? I have prev installed them on the TVIS but as this aplication will not work on the Z am curious to see what needs to be done.

Thank you,

Chris

The Turbonetics kit controls the tune via the reflash, 380 cc injectors, and a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump. With this the AF is 11:1 from boost to redline.

My question with that is that the reflash is supposed to hold the a/f in check how reliable can that be with climate changes? Barometric pressure and other factors to attribute to a/f? Also will you be using a wideband O2 to monitor your a/f. I personally with past FI cars have needed to change a/f for summer and winter but you are saying that a reflash is going to somehow know when to correct?

Basically it will function as the stock ECU does but with changes. For instance on a stock ECU when the ECU senses barometric or temp changes and notices more airflow or less airflow it automatically switchs maps to a tune that will make the car run right. The reflash basically just alters those maps to increase injector pulse time and adjust timing as needed. As with ALL ECU flashs the maps in the ECU are changed to adjust the timing and fuel flow to compensate for the added mods but the ECU will still switch between them based on airflow measurements ,temp, pressure, etc as needed. I'm not sure if I am describing this right. It will basically work just like the TS flash for lets say headers, cam, plenum. It will sense environment changes and switch maps accordingly except that none of the maps will allow the AFR to go above 11:1 when on boost. SOmeone from TS could better answer this i think. Hope I helped at least.
