Dyno Shops have employees, people that work there and do the tuning for example.
Now if I were to work for a dyno shop that does not mean I OWN a dyno hence based on your rules I would NOT be seen as a valid tuner even though that's my job (speaking hypothetically, me personally I am not a tuner).
Yeah I understand your point now and fair enough, if the guy has plenty of load based dyno experience (not inertia dyno experience) than all good and well. Again you just need to make sure he has sufficient experience with mapping stand alone engine management systems or sophisticated interceptor computers or otherwise you may will end up running into problems.

That I understand fully and appreciate and equally I just attempting to avoid a nasty unnecessary engine explosion, as I said previously one wrong key stroke and it can all end in tears, I've seen this many times over the years.

Which makes me quite sad frankly.
If you believe that you are capable of the TT install then by all means do it yourself, there is no forcing you to pay a shop to do the install.

This we do, most (not all) APS dealers have been to Oz for product training though again we can't force a person or business to do the training if they don't want to.

On the tuning issue if the dealer has not had a number of years dyno experience on a load based dyno then really it's very difficult to impart years of tuning knowledge in just a few days, this is the reason that APS develops all of the base tuning maps, you can't substitute 20 years of computer mapping and tuning experience.

All APS dealers are hand picked after careful investigation by APS field engineers, the like of Brainstorm in CA, GRD in Chicago, SGP in Houston are an example of the quality of workmanship that we expect from our US based dealers.

Thanks

Hey, while I got you on this thread how about TT compatibility for the 05 Enthusiast in the US? Is that a go or a hold off for now?
