why the hell would you want to stick a half-done motor on the dyno anyway? It was built to run WITHOUT turbos...

wtf?
i believe the entire purpose of building up the block with LOW compression pistons is to run the motor WITH turbos.

Me too, the pics on the internet don't really do it justice. The stance/wheels and the pearl in the paint look amazing in person.

Acree, yep, the LOW CR is for the F/I. The lower CR....the lower detonation threshold, the more boost you are allowed to run.

AEBS offers different compression ratio pistons for whatever you are trying to achieve.

Hey can probably run 87 with that low of compression, but maybe not in Houston with all the heat.

Technically one could run low boost on 87 pump with 8.5:1 pistons but I cant imagine who would. Maybe if you went cross country and some pump out in a corn field only had 87 available and then you tur down the boost, otherwise this is all academic because spending $5000 on internals and then tring to save $5 at the pump makes no sense.
