REGARDING THE POLL: YOU ARE ALLOWED MULTIPLE CHOICES. You can only pick on fuel system or fuel system + APS TallBoy Plenum and only one turbocharger kit.

I just figured this would be interesting to see what everyone would choose. You can choose anything, money doesn't matter, you are out to get 650+rwhp and it doesn't matter how you get it.

(yes I know you need to upgrade internals and a few other things)

Not enough options...and if I remove "other" I would have to add that on the other forums too...(I posted this on tech and motoring)

should at least add CAMs (JWT / Nismo / Tomei) as an option.
Since it is unlikey to hit 650rwhp without them.

Nah, i'm not talking about internals. I'm just talking about fuel, engine management, and turbo setup.

Well an AEBS block most definately represents "internals". And is not part of this poll.

However; on pump gas (93) ,without either/and or cams as a minimum , I don't think you'll see 650+rwhp from and FY "kit". Unless of course you start adding NOS on top of that. So the reason CAMs (a bolt on) should be included is that with comboe in the list 650+rwhp is somewhat of an unrealistic expectation. Now maybe if you lower it to 600+rwhp , then maybe we're talkin.

I am asking for what people would go with as far as turbo setup, fuel supply, and engine management...what's so hard about that? I'm not talking about the need to upgrade anything else which I know is needed.

There is a diff between strenghtened internls and Cams.
The internals are not needed to create the 650+ rwhp , they make the platfom robust. What I attempted to say is that without CAMs (or headwork) you won't be seeing 650+ rwhp jsut outta FI and Fuel upgrades . So asking for a 650rwhp + poll is not really reasonable. The VQ exhaust side flow appears to be inadequate with base cams at that target rwhp level.

I was under the impression that ALL internal moving parts in the engine are considered internals.

No...they aren't...they are required for the VQ35DE to go past 450rwhp though...

I just don't see what's so difficult...i'm just asking what turbo setup, fuel supply, and engine management you would choose to go accomplish 650+rwhp. I'm not asking for cams, pistons, rods, sleeves, valves, valve retainers, valve springs, exhaust, clutch and flywheel, rear end differential, axle half-shafts, test pipes, etcetera.

Thats fine, don't get your knickers in a twist.
I just wantted to point out that FI + Fuel delivery + EM does not appear enough to get to 650+ rwhp on the VQ35. You could get to +650rwhp on stock internals with Cams for a very brief while (given >100octane), but it'd be a one trip poney.

It's fine. I don't think a VQ35DE will do 650rwhp with cams and 100 octane for even a split second, I don't think it would make it past 500rwhp.

I should have clarified that I knew (and so everyone knows) that you could not do 650rwhp with fuel supply, engine management, and a turbo setup.

I've actually seen a Vortech ,OEM block and CAMs go over 500rwhp, but a Cryo cooler was used.
