Default Timing retard vs. Octane Rating

Ok guys, what do you use as a rule of thumb when tuning with higher octane fuel.

I usually pull 1 degree per psi over 2 psi for 93 octane

I run 110 octane when I go to the track and lower these values to .7 degree per psi over 2 psi.

Do you think these are conservative or aggressive. I only go by what other people have done, I'm looking for more information.
