They are just jealous.
I see no reason to consider the costly API kit when much less expensive quality kits are out there.
Hop up racing is offering the turbonetics kit for under 5 grand. Why spend 2 grand more for PE or API kits or even 1 grand more for greddy. That is all money that could be spent on forged internals.
BTW do you all think that with The Turbonetics system you would be less likely to have an engine failure?
If that is the case what has turbonetics done differently that makes the setup more reliable?

I would hesitate to say one kit more is reliable then another. They each have their own approach to tuning. So far they both seem to work just fine. I'm tired of the same old back and forth about which kit has SUPERIOR tuning when both approachs have so far proven to be just as good. The APS commentary was made in good fun. I wasn't even refering to their ST kit as a comparison but rather any of the kits. What are TTs seeing full boost? 3k? 3200 for this single turbo is pretty damn good. A lot better then people had said it was. The kit was hitting 9 PSI only at wide open throttle in 5 th gear but it was a pretty cool night. I think the temp gauge said 57. And we were in the valley. Anyone in cold climates with a boosted car will tell you that you will pick up an extra pound easily when its cold. But the car ran rich the whole time. EGTs stayed at 1000 at full boost and WOT and was 800 at part boost and throttle. The car would instantly drop to 600 when idling...

Mia, do you have any contacts that could look into the missing parts situation for some of the members on this board? I find the whole issue, and lack of support from turbonetics... disturbing...

I know a guy in Milwaukee that named his shop "Blown Motorsports". It was supposed to be about turbocharged motors, but as time went on, we began to think it really meant Blown, as in all the dang motors that mother BLEW!
Andy'Z, that would have been funny as hell, but I don't wish a blown motor upon anyone.

awesome awesome awesome, tell me, when I was watching the video, was idle at the 2K rpm line, in my video I hardly see the RPM gauge move, it looks like it is idling and when hitting WOT, it just stays at 2K-3K. Maybe thats how fast the sucker was moving, it looks like its sitting in one spot, ahahahaha...
Man, when you guys are having a meet somewhere, socal, or norcal, you guys better hit me up, pm or email, ian@getmoremoney.biz. Peace!!
Jim your wheels are sexxxy.
