All you guys out there that had your turbo housing's manifolds and down pipes coated if you wouldnt mind listing prices on what you paid. I just called then to get the final price on mine which they still have. They told me the total was $486 !!!!! I think im getting ripped off !!!! Even with shipping which was only $36 for me to ship to them where are the other costs ?

It is expensive that's why I always figured I could buy something that had better gains for the money.

It is expensive and I just looked back on my scanned receipt . . .

I paid about $270 only for the exhaust manifolds and the left & right elbows that are used on the Greddy TT kit . . . didn't want to fool with the turbo housings since I was a bit pessimistic with someone taking it apart, sending it out, coating it, and then repacking it to spec.

Take it for what its worth . . .

The center section is the mission critical area...that is left untouched. The compressor and exhaust housing are held together with a single band clamp, and there is nothing to them. The housing is hollow, and has no impact on clearances, bearings..etc...since those remain undisturbed in the center section.

They have mine right now... i shipped them out last wed or thur...

They gave me a quote for about 440 for the manifolds, housings, and the downpipes (or elbows) right off the turbo housing..
So that is either the right price or they are ripping two of us off

But i got 2000, did you get sterling or 2000? Mine was supposed to cost more...

Like he said all the critical parts stay entacked only the housing which is all one piece comes off. I too was not sure to take them off or not, only thing you need to remember is take a few pics of their position, it will be well worth it to have then coated too.

I got the PolyDyn 2500 degree gold coatings and paid a little over $600. $450 is not too bad.
