Default low idle with vortech

Got it on the road tonight, and have noticed that when i get to a stop light, idle is around 600 rpm, shortly there after it drops to 300 and just sits there. If i rev the motor it does the same thing, 600 then 300. Should i see the dealer and have him bump up the idle? Thanks.

no boog, bone stock, no mods other than the vortech. Do you think it might be the parasitic draw that the supercharger makes that may put more drag on the system?

I'm sure the blower changed your intake characteristics You might need to do the air relearn procedure (search here for it).. either that or you have a vacuum leak..

I second vacuum leak....use an air compressor and blow air into the line. You'll find the leak very quickly.

Would a vaccum leak not be present all the time though. What i mean by that is the idle is fine when the car is cold, it sits at 800rpm.

When the car is cold started the ECU bumps the idle until car warms up (open loop). My cold idle is higher than 800. A Leak sure sounds like the problem..
