Default Installed Procharger...now I have an oil leak?

I got the Procharger on and now the car seems to want to leak out of the front seal when idling. I have the PCV hose running into the end of the air filter as ATI instructed after tee'ing it off over the driver's side valve cover. One thing I questioned was the ability of the hose to see good vac sitting @ the end of a brand new K&N filter that is pretty long. I'm wondering if it is not close enough to the vac source since the K&N filter flows so well. A friend of mine with a Vortech on his Mustang says his PCV hose is connected a lot closer to the blower.

i dont fully understand the question you are asking...your worried the location of the K&N filter is too far from the actual unit itself? ...at that location its pulling in colder air.....im confused what your asking...

Not the filter, the PCV hose. With the filter being as long as it is and being brand new, would this be like just holding the PCV hose about 8" out in front of an open intake pipe and trying to get it to see vac. Do you get what I'm sayin?

I developed a leak right after install of the Vortech which I believe is coming from the drivers side valve cover (front location). Several z owners have said they have a similar problem even w/o F.I...Problem exasperated by high boost pressure..Try to locate where the oil is dripping from..If it's on the drivers side up front could be the problem..

I have a Procharger and I had a problem with a clogged PCV hose once.. a little water got in this hose over the winter and froze solid.. This caused the pressure to build up in the crank case because the vent was clogged.. Oil was oozing out of the both valve covers.. But the problem was found early and fixed.. and luckily the factory gaskets did not need any replacing..

IMHO, ATI chose a poor location for this line and can be prone to clogging like this in colder climates.. I believe the Vortech kit located this line higher up in the intake..
