Default Procharger legal in california?

Did a little searching and I wanted to verify if the procharger is legal in cali. I noticed on their site that it says "street legal" but that's a whoel nother meaning in california.

Thanks!

Unless it has a CARB E.O # it is not legal for use on a steet driven vehicle.

As of right now, yes. APS, JWT, Greddy(maybe), Vortec(maybe) are all working on CARB EOs. Some more than others.

I'm not sure on the S/C since I am looking for a T/C, maybe someone mre knowledgable on S/C kits can comment on those.

Cool

If you need to verify a part has CARB certification status, here is where you go.
http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...es/amquery.php

they update it fairly quickly (like weekly) when stuff gets certified. If it isn't here, you are SOL

Nobody but Stillen has Carb Certification.

Everybody is "working on it".

Im sorry but I may be really dense. But does that mean that the CA FI Z may have problems with passing smog in CA? OR do the smog techs over look the FI kits ?

They will not pass smog because of the visual inspection.

This is the only thing holding me back from purchasing an APS TT system. If only they knew or have an idea how many Californians are in the same boat as me.
