This is my second install on a Vortech but just wanted to make sure the Auto was the same. I called Vortech and they said that it cant be done, but the car runs great! I just like to do some research first so I dont run into anything during the install.

Why does Vortech say it is only designed for manuals if it works for AT? Also, what other modifications are needed to install in an AT?
THANKS!!!

On the AT5..you have to get a TS ECU flash to raise rev limiter . The car shifts slow so you bounce off the rev limiter . Other than that..its great on the auto

"booger" is right! Send you ECU to TS and get their "Limited Flash" while installing. Rev limit will be raised to 7100, Speed limit removed and throttle will be increased from 85% to 100%.

I already have a TS reflash & the rev limit has been raised. Will this match the performance mods. I already have below? Besides the kit, what else would be needed? Also, how much $$$ & how long would the install be? Sorry for ALL the questions. Do appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Jeff

Booger and sung, the car in question that G352NV was speaking of is mine and I wanted to know if it was really neccessary to have the ecu reflashed as I was just going to have it dyno tuned with the ss box and also get the valve body upgrade for quicker shifts, which is better for getting the car to shift sooner, the ecu reflash of the VB upgrade? or both..lol

I dont think the reflash helps the auto shift any faster, just increases the rev limiter. Infact I have a vague recollection about reading somwhere that the TS flash does not have anything to do with shift points or shift firmness, might have been on the TS website even.

I have been debating for quite some time on the VB and TQ upgrades. Have not made a decision, but the TS "Limited Flash" is a must.

ok one last question, this morning the belts squealed for about 10 secs and then went away, I thought that maybe it needed tightening so I took it to my buddies shop and we looked at it and there is no slack in the belt at all, this thing is perfectly snug. So do I just let it settle more and wait till it squeals more and then worry about it or is it too tight? not really sure if this would cause the same issue.
This kit was used for a few hundred miles so I thought the belt would have stretched enough already.
