Default The No BS APS TT Thread

Guys, I posted this on g35driver.com also, but since this FI forum is more active, here it is:

With all the opinions, redirected answers, and half truths on this forum about the APS TT system, its impossible to figure out what kind of numbers people are actually seeing. This thread is for people that actually have the APS TT to share their info with the rest of us. If you dont have the system, or if you just want to share your thoughts on which TT is best, please use another thread. Here is the format:

internal engine mods
other mods
tuned or used "out of the box" set up
RWHP
RWTQ
where installed/tuned
price for installation/tuning
miles on kit
other comments

If you have any dyno charts, please post them. Remember, this is only for real world results from actual owners, not manufacturers, dealers, distributors, friends of a dude who thought about maybe getting the APS, people who saw the APS at a booth at a show, etc. Thanks!

You also might want to post the TYPE of dyno used. DynoJet, Dyno Dynamics, Dyna Pak..etc....as this has a pretty big impact on the numbers posted.

For those of us that don't know can you tell us the usual differences like dynopacks are usually lower than dynojet, etc, etc.?

I'd be interested to hear this as well, however at the OP's request, that's probably best saved for a different thread so that things stay on topic with the "NO B.S. APS TT Thread".

Sharif, can you crank this up in another thread?

Actually this would help OP understand all the numbers better.

(Not that we're not getting off-topic here anyway...but)

I completely agree, but that subject will lead to numerous side-bar conversations that have nothing whatever to do with the APS TT kit, thus losing the point of this thread, which is what the OP didn't want to happen. I wasn't arguing with you at all, I just was suggesting that a 'discussion' (because it will turn into that) of dyno types might be best housed in its' own thread. That's all. It was still a great question.

My APS TT was in stalled in Dec. '04 by Brainstorm in L.A. when I had 7,000 mi on my '04 roadster. I now have 12,000+ mi with no major problems. I have Helix test pipes, Nismo exhaust, Nismo wheels, Michelin Pilot Sports, Tein Flex with EDFC suspension and Hotchkis sways. Internals are stock as well as clutch. Dynojet tested 414 rwhp at 9.0 psi tuned by ZCarGarage for 91 octane.

I haven't been to a drag strip yet but I have done 2 days of road racing at Thunderhill (NorCal) and had a blast. If money isn't too much of hang up I strongly recommend the APS TT kit for instant 400+ HP.
