Default Found something interesting yesterday..

I was under the hood yesterday and looking at my Procharger setup a little closer, and I noticed a peculiar hose that was plugged. It seems to be about 1/2" in dia. and it looks like it was hooked to the bottom of my stock intake tube at one time. I looked at my old intake tube and there was a nipple for it. The Procharger system doesn't have anywhere for this to hook up. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Just plugged up? I took the plug out, started the car and there seemed to be vaccuum at idle from the hose. Anyone else have it like this?

Sounds like you are talking about the PCV hose. The pcv system requires vacume from the intake to suck the excess vapors from the crankcase into the motor to be burnt. A lack of vacume to the pcv system can prevent your rings from making a good seal. I'd hook it back up if I were you.

both your pcv lines should be tied together and a single hose running to just behind the air filter on the ati kit. if you reach (if you can) behind the air filter there is a nipple that the new pcv line hooks to on the bottom. i had no plugged or open lines after my install except i did bypass the throttle body heater though by just tying the coolant lines back together.
