I would go with the 2.87 and the 440cc injectors and you can get just a little over 400whp. With the s/c I believe this is safe because they don't put out as much tq as the turbo kits. Also they are a bunch of guys running the 2.87 with no problems. Might as well get all the upgrades now....power is addicting and you will want more. Max it out from the begining.
Just my $0.02.

GMan what other mods did you have at the time when you dyno'ed 380 with the 3.12 pulley?

APS oil pan is $395. I got my from dyno comp (480-596-0500). They had them in stock. I got it shipped for $408. I don't know if it come pre-taped but I know it can be made to work with the vortech. Enthuziast was going to use one with the votech he bought. Dyno comp was going to do his install. If you order one from them ask them what has to be done to make it work.

Top Speed Headers, 3" y-pipe, 3" b-pipe, 440cc injectors, and I was using the emanage (could not find an SS box tuner in Miami). This was on a dyno jet.

I dont think any one has tapped the spacer , or used a oil return line low in the oil pan [ APS , or any other oil pan ] . It was designed so the oil
return flows in above the oil fill line . I dont think I would want to be the one to find out . I would be to affraid of oil backing up into the blower

if you tap the oem upper oil pan for an FI application and later remove it, how bad is it to replace the upper oil pan assembly? The part doesnt look terribly expensive (less than an aftermarket oil pan).

I had mine replaced for $80 but my motor was already out for the build. I guess that doesn't help though.

is there any cons on having the setup I listed above all controlled by the ECU.... besides having to get it reflashed if I were to do any upgrades in the future, I plan to do everything before or while the s/c is installed so I dont have to worry about get retuned/reflashed

IMO this would be a better route, but if you could get the car to AAM so they can flash the ECU with the car there that would be the best.

Thats my whole plan getting the reflash why Im on the dyno....I'm only like 2 hrs away I think its worth the trip to run the car without the piggyback and just have it running off the ecu with a perfect tune.......I will basically have everything installed before I would have it tuned besides cams which I dont plan on doing anytime soon

I would prefer the ECU over a piggy any day. Your car should run great!
