taurran got the DC Sports headers to work on his. It took some "massaging" of the downpipe but it fit.

Not sure about the Vortech install. However Turbonetics recommends the stock plugs on their kit. I have had mine running with the stock plugs since January.

Can someone confirm that? I was told that they were good. I need to know this ASAP.

I was quoted 13 hours for the Vortech install.

No they are replicas of the Fujis. Its a tight fit so if possible I would compare the runners to see if they even have a prayer.

It will fit with some adjustments, but we're still having some issues with it contacting the frame. Overall, I'd say if you're going with this kit, sell your headers and just install it using the stock manifolds. Your install will just be that much easier and cleaner if you use the stockers.

Theres not really a way to confirm them unless you can look at a DC Sports header side by side and see if the primaries are wider on the Topspeed headers.

That's about right. When I was getting my vortech installed I got anywhere from 8-12 hours for the install. I would try to negotiate a little.

Thanks. I had an install of the headers and Clutch/flywheel scheduled for next weekend - was planning on Vortech now Im not sure. Trying to decide if I should still install the headers or not. AAM said they would be a good complement to the system and if I go Vortech it makes sense. I am a little worried about them though if I go with the TNetics kit both from a fitment and a heat viewpoint.

Heat shoudn't be an issue. It's more of a fitment issue than anything.

If you're going Turbonetics, keep with stock headers if possible as it will make your life much easier during and after install.

With the Vortech, headers should be no problem.

I'd say sell your headers and use the cash to grab the Turbonetics kit.

It shouldn't be a problem to run colder plugs. I believe taurran is doing so now. However all testing was done on the stocker plugs.

I'm going to hopefully have some videos up this weekend of my kit running. Most likely Saturday.

I took mine in today for some adjustments, and ran it by the shop a few times. My installer said "it sounds like a turbo'd RB26". I consider this a good thing.

I'm running the Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhaust with it, and it sounds sweet.

Like taurran said they should be fine but you aren't going to get too much power gain from it. Maybe a few horse. At 380 RWHP the money you are going to spend to get a few more horse may not be worthwhile.
