Default Vortech Question

Ok guys I need to ask you something.
I have just done a DIY job fitting my Vortech super charger.
Runs great and I am well impressed.
The question I have.
Is the blower it's self supposed to make a whinning noise like a jet engine????.
It is not the belt.
I would have posted this question on the UK site but there is little or no knowledge regards this in the UK.
Thanks in advance
Steve

This is normal. When I first installed mine I also thought something was wrong.

K060930 Thats the part number ....You might want to check to see if the intercooler pipe that runs behind the blower, isnt touching the wheel well . Mine did and it made the whine resonate really bad . We stuck a piece of radiator hose down between it and the body

I am running the same length (93.0" but different manufacturer) belt that you listed with the stock Vortech pulley with no problems.

Vortech Guys.....

Do my belt correction/fix.

This will make you all very happy.

I've done no adjustment and had no belt noise in 14,000 miles.

Do it-you will never have Vortech belt problems agin.

I installed the K060935. The last 3 digits represent the length of 93.5..
