Default APS installed with brake light and battery light flicker

Just had an APS TT installed. Runs well but my brake light AND battery light flickers especially during acceleration. Does anyone have similar problems? Is this a short in the circuit? My battery was completely discharged waiting 3 weeks to get the APS kit. Could this have something to do with it? I still have the problem even after re-charging the battery.

Default Alternator to engine block

Could it be because the alternator didn't get re-grounded to the engine block during the install? Any help would be appreciated.

Your alternator belt may not be adjusted properly and subsequently "lifting" off the pulley when the engine is spinning fast.

Thanks for everyone's help. I'll print this thread for my installer.
By the way, the charge went down to 8 volts on the meter and my service light went on, then my radio reception went out, then the acceleration went out. I had to coast the car to a stop. I hope my installer figures it out.
