Default Post your forced induced ET's

I'm thinking about getting FI in the near future. Just wondering what times I can expect (stock engine, upgraded clutch and tyres) with different kits out there.

Thanks guys

That's very impressive.

So if installed an APS kit in my stock 350, upgraded the clutch, put on some semi slicks.....I too can expect those times (assuming similar conditions and of course similar driver skills)?

That's almost too hard to believe. Amazing

on my 19's and street tires, I run 13.2 @ 109...my 60' sucks cause I have a lightened flywheel. 60' time is 2.22 EEKKK!

I ran 13.022 @ 111mph. Stock tires, stock greddy boost(~5lbs). 60' times were 2.1xx. I wanted to get it into the 12's before I went home, but rain and a loose BOV wouldnt allow it. This was also my first time at the track with my Z.

I run in the very low 13's. I broke into the 12's once with a jedi like reaction time of .555 and a 60ft of under 2 seconds. Other than that I am usually at 13.1-13.2.

I am completely stock other than the stillen.

Reaction time has nothing to do with ET. Timing starts when you pass the second beam. Good time and that's a very good 60 foot. I always loved launching with Roots style blowers.

I wouldn't see why not... Besides the turbo, I have a flywheel, clutch, pulley, exhaust, and a Nismo LSD.. Thats it besides the Steet ET's at the track... And some decent tuning... I ran a 12.10 @114 with the APS stock out the box tune before this clutch and flywheel combo...

So reaction time does not effect your total? So is it only for head to head racing?

I don't know enough to disagree, but I would have thought the timer started when the light turned green?

I love the roots style, the power is always there and it is just so predictable.

Your time starts when you leave the line... you could sit there for 30 sec and stlll pull a 12. pass... you might look stupid !! but it doesn't affect your et...

you can jump early and get a red light (lose race) or even sit there for 2 seconds after the light turns green...when you actually pass the line, that is when the timer begins...the E.T. has nothing to do with your reaction time

you do realize that your reaction time has nothing to do with your ET, right? That's pretty good for a Stillen. My buddy with the same setup had a hard time breaking into the mid-13's with his setup.

EDIT: Maybe I should read all of the replies first!

Well, at least I learned something today. Next time I go to the track I will worry less about hitting the light and more about getting the perfect launch.

Every track is different, and I have only been on perfect days, never over 80 degrees. I think your buddy should be in the low 13's easily, there are a lot of people on here running NA mid 13's. Also, I am by no means an incredible driver I just try to have fun and whatever happens, happens.
