So I'm building my motor for the next few weeks, and I still need to purchase some JWT cams & springs. Not only do I need them but a few other guys I know are also looking to buy the package.

Where's the cheapest place that has them on the shelf,or at least could get them within a month?

Is there any intrest to start a group buy? (knowing there is 3 of us now)

Are any sponsors/vendors/shops able to start a group buy?

If I would have waited a few days I could have done the GB and maybe save some $$$ but I picked mine up last week.

The Z is in the shop right now getting these installed. Good luck on the GB!

 

Price on install? did you get the street cam grind or the race.

 

I got the street S-1 cams. Install is pretty $$$...about the same amount you paid for the cams. I ran a base dyno on Wed and was at 227hp 211tq once I get it back next week I should be running an after dyno to see what kind of gains they produced.

 

how about anyone in the san diego area....I know of a few shops that I might be able to save some money on the install. If we go in as a group I will see if they will drop some of the price so your not spending 1200 for install on top.

I just pulled my motor yesterday(took about 12 hrs) & plan on building it myself, so installation prices are irrelevent to me. Go ahead & hook everyone else up though

 

You can get them for even cheaper through conceptzperformance.com. He sells them for 1020.00 and the customer service is outstanding.

Thank goodness there is not an actual group buy. I dont think i could resist if there was........must save money, must save money.
