Autosport wiring harness lets you wire up the eManage on a patch harness, and then just plug it inline with your ECU...simple.

Since many of us already have hacked ECU's, its probably not needed. But for those doing a fresh install, it really simplifies the wiring, and allows you to return to stock, without any signs of tampering.

The EU doesnt come with the supplemental harness, that is extra. They are not expensive...about $35

Will be ordering once you verify a few key features, ie advance timing, rev-limiter increase, etc. work Sharif, so I'm a STRONG maybe.

Rev limit increase is the only thing that likely wont work. It doesnt work on the blue eManage, and unless there is some new feature change, I dont think it will work on our ECU with the Ulitimate.

I'll check it out thought, for sure.

Is there an on/off provision or capability with the piggyback for nitrous applications? Seems like an ideal tool for a dry system if it can be turned on or off or even change programs with system activation? Thanks

Hi everyone,

Please go ahead and pre-order your eManage components online. The links are activated. Click here: http://www.forgedinternals.com/store/home.php?cat=256

As mentioned, your CC will not be charged until I have completed in house testing of the eManage Ultimate, but I need everyone to sign up and order, in order to committ the pricing of the GB. THANKS!!

ok so for those of us who don't have the emanage setup at all, we'll need the

emanage ultimate
ignition timing harness
injector harness
ultimate complete harness
and autosport harness?

or do you need either the ultimate harness OR autosport harness depending on if you already have an emanage blue installed? the autosport being the better choice for new installs?

What exactly would I need for harnesses if I currently have the stock setup with no ECU wire tampering. I want timing and fuel control. Does the autosport harness cover it all or would you need that plus another harness to hook to the Emanage Ultimate?

Guys, i'm 90% sure that the Autosport harness is just so you can splice into THOSE wires instead of splicing into the OEM ECU's wires. The harnesses that GReddy sell are what you definitely need to get (if you don't want to splice into the OEM wires, so you can just unhook the harness if you want to sell, then get the Autosport harness).

Now, i'm confused on which GReddy harnesses I need. If you already have a GReddy blue emanage, and have all harnesses you can get for it, you only need: GReddy ultimate emanage + GReddy supplemental harnesses right?

However, if you just bought a GReddy TT kit + FMIC, (which includes the greddy blue emanage) so you don't have the ignition harness and MAP sensor harness, you need to buy those + the supplemental harnesses for the ultimate emanage, am I correct on this?

Just making sure this is clear as I was confused a little bit.

And the harness for the blue emanage that goes to the profec e-01 boost controller, will this work on the ultimate emanage?

the emanage ultimate would work fine with the APS kit right?

I kinda feel better about using this than trying to get the unichip custom tuned...

Sentry, the eManage Ultimate will work fine with the APS kit or any FI or N/A 350Z.

Regarding the needed harnesses, I know this can get confusing, but its actually really not too bad.

1) The Autosport harness is totally optional, and not needed for the operation of the of the eManage Ultimate. The Autosport harness is a convenience item, that makes it easier to install a new emanage. You can do all the wiring on the patch harness, on a workbench, and then just plug in the harness to your stock ECU and harness. Also allows you to leave the stock wiring unmolested, and return it to stock.

2) If you currently have a blue eManage with timing harness and injector harness, the ONLY thing you need is the eManage Ultimate, and the supplemental harness.

3) If you do not currently have an eManage, you will need the eManage Ultimate, and the eManage Ultimate Complete Harness. The complete harness has provisions for the timing and injector control, and RPM signal, so you dont need any additional harnesses.

One last thing, is that if you current have an e-01, then you can use that pressure sensor to tune with, and you'll just need a pressure sensor harness. If you dont plan on running an e-01, then to tune with pressure, you will need to buy a pressure sensor harness and pressure sensor.

Sharif, and if you haven't bought any other harnesses for the blue emanage (that is included in the GReddy TT kit), what do you need if you are switching to the ultimate emanage?

(BTW, thanks for explaining)

Sharif -- think we should do this as part of the new engine buildup?

sounds like a good idea to me

what all do I need? eManage Ultimate box & Harness?

i'll be on the list if you've still got room

You will need the emanage ignition harness, pressure sensor, pressure sensor harness and ultimate supplimental harness. Just those four.

But its difficult to understand exactly what that threshold is.

In regards to your second question, is has correction tables for air intake temp, and coolant temp, so yes, you can retard timing or add additional fuel when tuner specified conditions are met.
I dont see anything about being able to advance the timing at will ,the blue couldnt advance on the 350z

Sharif, given the fact that the stillen unit splices straight into the wires, do you think I should go with an autosport or just re-splice .....

If you've already hacked the stock harness there is no reason to spend an extra $300. Just MHO.
