Default TS reflash problem.

Hi, I had my ECU reflash two weeks ago. However, I keep hear some weird sound (like gee...gee...gee...) while I WOT between 3000-5000 RPM on second gear only. I brought my car to TS two time to adjust the timing, but the sound still there. Brian @ TS has told me the sound is not pinging, and it is coming from the rear. However, once time at night, I can hear no sound at all while I WOT at second gear. Anyone know what that sound it?

Doesnt sound like its ECU related. Maybe your axles are starting to squeek? Or maybe your drivers side seat is squeeking, some Z's have these problems, lucky me I had 2 now Im down to 1. My advice would be to bring a passenger with good ears out on a ride, close the windows turn everything off, and try to reproduce the sound till you figure it out. Good luck.

I had my friend sit on the passenger seat, and close all window, AC, and music. We can clearly hear the sound. I can't figure where the sound coming from, but my friend and Brian @ TS both said the sound coming from rear. So, I would like to believe the sound is coming from rear too. If the rear axles squeek, what should I do.

Thanks.

I think it could be your axles. Mine would creek and then click. My car was doing those noises bad when they replaced my trans (at 4700 miles). The dealer wouldn't repair my axles until 8900 miles.Good-luck

I think I have same problem,

Every time I go over a small bump or while turning and accelerating at the same time there's a loud sound coming from under the car.

I went to the dealer to have it checked out and they found nothing wrong, they said my suspension was good and maybe that the sound was from my exhaust hitting something.

It's really starting to get annoying !!!

Maybe the TT's are taking there toll on the axels.

I guess I need to bring it in again to have the axels checked out properly.

Tasso-

Mine did not has sound when go over bump or accelerating when turning. It has sound when I WOT to around 3000-4500rom on second and third gear. Should I bring my car to dealer to have them check or it will void the warranty.

Have them check it out, they shoudn't void your warranty.

When I brought mine and they saw all my mods, they were like wow nice car and very excited.

I took my car to the dealership yesterday and had them duplicate the problem. At first, the mechanic said that there is nothing wrong with my car and that noise that I'm hearing is coming off from my aftermarket exhaust that is rubbing something underneath the car. I told him BS, let me drive the car and listen to it. So we went for a stroll and sure enough it squeek like a pig. i also mentioned to him that there was a TSB out for this problem. So we went back to dealership and he ordered the part that he's going to change next week.

no, they can't seem to find the problem...

I guess I'll put it on a lift and take a look for myself, to see if anything's loose.

I don't know if this relates to the story or not...but I had the same kind of problem...but it was more of a racheting noise...coming from the right rear side...and it was a patch of rust on my axles and they cleaned it off...and it was fixed...just thought I'd help. Good luck with your diagnosis.

Are you having dealer to clear it off for you? What mod do you have?
