Well my compressior locked up and HKS fixed it free of charge well sent me a new one but same thing. As for why that happend? We are thinking the unit wasnt primed after install and after sometime with lack of oil it locked up. Seems this isnt the first time this happend.

But my car is super quite now all this time ( from day 1) sounding like a jet and now you can even tell I have FI.

Nice to have it back on the road "for now"

 

That greats! I know how much it sucks to not have your car. I am going on 4 months. My built motor is going in this week and I should have the car back next week.

I thought it sounded unusually loud when I seen it at Big Show. Didn't think much of it cause it was the first HKS car I've seen in person. Glad to hear they took care of it though! I know the feeling though, I got my blower belt to tight before I went to the beach a while back and pretty much killed it and drove home w/o it and after you've heard the noise for a while it's weird not to hear it!

 

See thats just it, My HKs has been that loud from day one so I never hand anything to judge by

 

glad that you resolved the problem. you totaly scared me when you said it sounded like a jet engine!!!!
