Default Turbonetics ST back on the roads!

Finally got my car back. Install according to my techs was done just fine and the a/f seemed to be running rich 10.0. I guess it blew up due to my negligence, but if it was going to blow up i guess it was going to blow up. Anyways, its running great and we are going to start looking into which piggy back system I am going to go with this week. Here are my #'s and this is with heat soak, humidity and lower compression (8.5:1) on just the reflash, 358whp and 323tq at 8-8.5psi(.6bar). Btw, I am running stock exhaust. My techs think I could have gotten more power but it was 11pm at night and they were trying to go home.

PS: I am sorry for bad mouthing anyones reputation during all of this but it has been a very costly and dramatic experience for me. I am taking it very easy this time around on this setup. Techs who originally installed my kit did a great job and the T-netics kit is a great kit(so far).

i believe turbonetics has a bigger turbo that you can get off of them that will slip rite into where the current turbo is... and u could be looking at much bigger numbers... i think miaplaya was saying something baout this, he'll probbaly be helpful

yeah you should put in a 62-1, i think it will bolt right up, its the same size just a different compressor wheel, youre the first one with a built TN kit, you ought to boost the hell out of that thing!

Yeah I go into the 10's too, even at 8psi... I am def. looking forward to the UTEC for a our to be released.

Also maybe I am spoiled from smaller turbo's from the Civic's/RSX's I have driven where the boost comes on much sooner and of course overall response is quicker...

Infact all this talk about a bigger turbo or using a different trim, well I would love to see Turbonetics offer basically the same kit but a smaller turbo cause it is cool to be WOT and around 3K start building full boost and knock your head back... But def. not the best for my daily drive where I basically go really quickly way past the speed limit just to feel the boost

Shervin,
I know what an ordeal this has all been for you, and I'm really happy that she's finally back on the road. It's great to see you just putting it all behind you and looking to the future with your car. We absolutely must get together for a cruise when my car is out of the hospital. Are you going on the winery cruise with us next weekend? If you haven't lately, check out the mid-A forum. There are quite a few events on the calendar for the group. I hope you can make it out to some / all.

Glad you got everything worked out shervin. As for a bigger turbo a 62-1 is physically identical to the 60-1 but with a bigger wheel. It flows about 10% more then a 60-1 according to Turbonetics. However you may want to try just turning up the boost a bit to see what you can get with this. The 60-1 should make close to 600 RWHP at 21 PSI
