Default Engine coolant temp. comparisons

I have a temp gauge measuring the engine coolant outlet temp into the radiator. The temp usually reads between 210 deg F and 220 deg F on hot days.. What does your engine temp's run.. I have the stocker coolant system.. What does your temp run and have you modded the coolant system. Thanks

I only have the stock coolant gauge.

I had replaced the stock rad with the Koyo double core, but had to chuck the stock fans and cowl as they would not fit with Both the Koyo and the Vortech.

I was running two flexalite 10 inch fans....these were too small. Car was overheating in traffic in the summer.

I switch to 16" and 13" SPAL fans....seems to be running quite cool now.

I also added a bottle of Redline's Watter Wetter and noticed my oil temps seem to be running lower (have a gauge for that) about 3-5 degrees cooler.

If anyone gets the Koyo rad to supplement their FI Kit, I highly recommend the SPAL fans.

I have a water temp sensor on my outlet pipe also and temps stay around 195. Highest I've seen is 206 on a hot day under boost.

I use the Blitz Rvit and it read water temp on a hot day in traffic or when im getting on it in the low 200s. It usually runs in the 190-200 range, but sometimes it runs up as high as 210-215.
I hear this is totally normal for our cars..
